Overview
This multiple days Suriname Package provides the highlights of Suriname which you surely must do when visiting Suriname. In Suriname we have different cultures, vegetations, architectures, food and more. This package includes:
Day 1: Arriving, transfer from airport to Paramaribo, overnight in hotel
Day 2: Paramaribo city tour
Day 3: Commewijne Plantation & Boattrip
Day 4 + 5: Galibi & French Guiana trip
Day 6 : Jodensavanne & Powakka
Day 7 + 8: Stone Eiland & Brownsberg
Day 8 – 10: Kumalu Dream Island (Lodge Hopping)
Day 8 – Day 10: You’ll depart from Stoneiland by bus to the Maroon villages in the interior of Suriname. These days you’ll first visit a small Maroon village with lots of local activities where tourist can participate in the daily household of the locals and learn how they manage to grow there own vegetables. you can catch fishes from the river, making cassava bread if available. After that you’ll visit another resort and enjoy the magnificent rapid called the Tapawatrafalls. Climb the Ananasberg (Pineapple mountain), where literally the wild pineapples grow. A jungle walk through the forest with so much information about the medicinal uses of plants by the locals. After 4 beautiful days with the Maroons you’ll come back to Paramaribo.
