Passport and Tourist card
For a trip to Suriname, a visa and a passport are generally required. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended visit to Suriname.
As part of the current visa policy’s relaxation and to promote tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with “VFS (Visa Facilitating Service) Global,” launched the E-visa & E-tourist card website on April 15, 2019. To apply, visit: [https://suriname.vfsevisa.com/suriname/online/home/index](https://suriname.vfsevisa.com/suriname/online/home/index)
This E-Tourist Card is available for visitors with a maximum stay of 90 days and with nationality from the following 52 countries ([click here](https://suriname.vfsevisa.com/suriname/online/home/index)).
