Day 1 – Journey to French Guiana & Colonial Heritage
Our adventure begins with an early morning departure from Paramaribo towards the border town of Albina. Along the way, we stop at the historic Moiwana Monument, an important site in Suriname’s history.
After crossing the Maroni River by boat to Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, we begin exploring one of French Guiana’s most fascinating towns.

Before sunrise, we depart for Kourou, home of the European Space Centre. From there, we board a boat to the world-famous Îles du Salut (Salvation Islands), including the legendary Devil’s Island.
